Storage, and what Ive learned
Many companies will let you visit the storage facility to access the storage container, but they usually require a few days' notice so they can get the container out of the stacks in the warehouse and lower it to a location where you can open it. Is packing a storage and moving container like filling a storage room in a warehouse? Unlike storage units, storage containers are picked up repeatedly, shifted, and even slightly tipped over the course of their use. Therefore, you will need to pack a storage container just like you would pack a moving container. Pack from the bottom up, not from the back forward, and make sure there is no space between boxes or any room for items to shift and break inside boxes. If there is space left at the top after you have packed the container, rope down your boxes so they will not shake free when the container is moved.
