Corn shouldn't be included in dog food as it is non digestive. You should be aware of certain chemical preservatives that can cause cancer and other health problems in pets; they include butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), propyl gallate, propylene glycol, ethoxyquin and ethoxyquin. There is no need of dyes and sweeteners like corn syrup and sugar in dog food. Similarly beef tallow is less desirable as it is a low quality fat product. The dogs do not necessarily need fruits and vegetables, though these are added in insignificant amounts in the food.
